Therefore, during your first visit you will meet with your radiation oncologist. He/She may consult with any other specialists as necessary before your treatment begins to determine the best course of action for you. In addition, other members of the Cancer Team such as the Physicist, Dosimetrist, Radiation Nurse and Radiation Therapists may be brought in to better help plan your optimal course of treatment and to assist you in successfully managing your care.
